Current nail look + OOTD

Alrighty, first for my new nail look!...

While on a mini shopping spree at Target I bought Sally Hanson's crackle top coat.
To tell you the truth, I was never really into the whole "crackle" thing before, but after trying it for myself, I love it! It's so fun and cute!

What's on my nails:

L.A Colors nail lacquer in "Electric charge"

Sally Hanson Crackle overcoat in "Vintage violet"

Now for my outfit!

Today I wore my favorite Aero jeans (which I got on clearance! I forget how much they costed though...) with my new favorite T-shirt from Target (Also on clearance for $4!).

I could seriously go on and on about this shirt! It's so soft, and polka-dotty, and flowy and aghhhhh I just adore it!

On the front is a picture of a city, and over that it says "Live in the moment"... Just thought I'd save you some time since the writing in the below picture is backwards haha!

Oh yeah, and did I mention the sleeves? Oh my gosh... I LOVE the sleeves! So cuffy and cute!... I am completely aware that "Cuffy" is not a word . ;)

Ahhh yes, and the earrings... Another buy that I am absolutely head over heels with!
These baby's are at least 6 inches long, making them the most uncomfortable earrings ever on account of them being made of tiny chains, therefore weighing about 30 times my usual earring... Still, wouldn't change a thing! I couldn't find a picture of them online sadly, but to make up for what you can't see.... They're PINK! Well, they're silver too but pink is much more exciting to me.

Untitled #374

For church tonight (I wore a totally different outfit this morning which I'm not even going to bother trying to re-create cause it was made up of clothing articles which I have had for like, ever!) I wore my beloved Polka-dotty shirt with a peach maxi that I got at Target on clearance for $7, and BLUE heels that I also got at Target for $7! I LOVE those shoes! The picture doesn't do them justice! They're just... Fabulous! <3

Well folks, that's it for my outfits of the day (well now it's technically my outfit of yesterday!).

Sweet dreams (Or good morning, or good... Whatever applies to where you are!)!

XOXO

Today's nail look!

Yup, I changed my nails again. In case you didn't already assume this about me, I paint my nails about three times more than necessary.

The reason for the change this time is I bought a new nail polish... And it's my new favorite! (Don't take this the wrong way... A polish being my "new favorite" doesn't mean that my other favorites get... Um... Un-Favorited. Just means that It's added to my "Favorites" collection... I know, I didn't actually have to explain that... I felt like being informative though so there you go! Ha ha ha!)

Anyways... My new love is... "Electric charge" by L.A colors! Oh yeah, it only costed one dollar! "What???"... Yep, it's only a buck AND it's great quality. I usually wouldn't buy a nail polish for so cheap (in fact, I almost skipped out on buying this one!) on account of being afraid that the quality would stink, but this one is A-OK!

It's a lot pinker than it looks in the photo, but I couldn't get it to show accurately on camera... And I was to lazy to fix it with editing.

This is what it actually looks like:

I can't even express how impressed I am with this color! Ahhhh, I just love it to pieces... And then some! <3

Now for the manicure... So super simple.

1. Paint all 10 nails with "Electric charge" or a similar color.

2. Paint the tops of the ring fingers at an outward diagonal angle with "Pirouette my whistle" by OPI (My favorite sparkle polish!) .

I know, explaining that wasn't really necessary either... But like I said, I'm feeling informative!

XOXO!

My current nail look!

Ring finger: 3 coats of OPI's "My pointe exactly", then two opposing triangles in a coral color by Julep, lastly I applied dots of OPI's "pirouette my whistle".

Others: Base coat of  OPI's "You callin' me a lyre?", tips painted with "Pirouette my whistle" then bows in the same coral color as the triangles.

Sorry for such an un-detailed explanation, I didn't feel like doing a full out tutorial. :(

Don't touch my tutu! New NY ballet by OPI collection!

Introducing, the only nail polish collection I've ever freaked out about, The New York Ballet collection by OPI!

(In order from left to right) Pirouette My Whistle,  Don't Touch My Tutu!, Care to Danse?, You Callin' Me a Lyre?,  Barre My Soul and My Pointe Exactly.

I'm a pastel girl. I like vanilla ice cream, dislike sprinkles, and prefer pale pink over "POW!" colors.
And as much as I adore ballet, what more could a girl like me possibly ask for?

I'll be working hard to get some money so I can buy the whole collection before it's gone, but if I end up only being able to buy a couple, I'm going to get "You Callin' Me a Lyre?", "Barre My Soul" and Possibly  "Care to Danse" or "Don't Touch My Tutu!" (This one just because the name is absolutely adorable!)

"OPI is so excited to work with the New York City Ballet," said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. "The dancers, choreography and costumes provided a wealth of inspiration for a range of soft, feminine hues. The beige, pink and white lacquers bring to mind classic ballet slippers, tutus and leotards, while the sheer lilac and gray add muted color to ballet's traditional pink."

This collection will be available in April, in Professional salons, JCPenny, And Ulta for around $9 a bottle.
I've got it on my calender! Do you?

What do you think of the collection so far? Does it make you want to dance? Or would you rather skip it and go for more vibrant colors?
